Wishing You a Safe and Happy Labor Day 2020

Got Plans This Labor Day Weekend?

It’s safe to assume most of us are pretty fed up with hearing the same old phrases. You know the ones we mean. Phrases like “these unprecedented times” and “this year will be different” are ingrained in all of our heads. Labor Day is traditionally our last big summer hurrah. And after the year we’ve all had, it’s safe to say Labor Day 2020 needs to be special.

Working in the party rental industry, many of you will probably spend Labor Day weekend working. And this year, your work is going to be an essential service for stir crazy customers who’ve spent most of this year cooped up indoors. Chances are most of you are going to be busy this weekend, and we’re sure most of you would agree that’s a good thing.

That having been said, we do hope you’re able to enjoy a little personal time over these next few days. 2020 was the most stressful rental season ever for a lot of us. We all had to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions to attract customers, some of whom aren’t traditionally on our call sheets.

This Labor Day should be a celebration for our industry. We showcased our resilience and fought through a crippling global pandemic together. Some of you will want to celebrate by servicing customers and others will want to kick their feet up and relax. But we should all try to find a little time this weekend to celebrate our passion and our drive.

From all of us here at Tent and Table, we hope you have a safe, happy, and relaxing Labor Day. And if your rental company is booked, we hope your weekend is profitable and your customers are great to work with.
